Almost too small to see. Pronounced as if you were calling a salamander "my newt".
You should always use a hand lens to look for minute features, in order to see them clearly. Okay, sometimes you can tell that a minute feature is there without the lens, but you certainly shouldn't decide that it isn't there without checking with magnification.
