Marasmius scorodinus
Well, everyone in this business has to invent a term sooner or later, and this is mine. It refers to the famous property of certain Marasmius species (and, really of most jelly fungi): drying out and shrivelling up tremendously; but, upon rewetting, reinflating, resuming biological activity, and producing more spores.
The simple term reviving is sometimes used in this sense, but most people nowadays seem to use some arbitrary longer phrase.
