Biography

It is rare that there are three excellent biographies available of a single mycologist. It is even rarer that they each contain mostly information that is not in the other two. So, rather than bust myself trying to combine and paraphrase them all, I simply refer you to the two websites below, and Andy Methven's "article in McIlvainea".

I will point out, however, that James Ellis Humphrey, Coker's original graduate advisor, is also featured in this database, as is Strasburger, with whom Coker also studied.
